📚 Approach & Strategies
A balanced development of students is promoted through various activities and teaching modes. All subject panels, besides preparing syllabuses and work schemes, design learning activities suiting different students to promote class participation and development of generic skills. Teachers endeavour to foster students to become self-regulated learners by helping them develop indispensable learning habits. The junior curricula provide general education and NSS students can opt for different subjects. Hence, various subject combinations are available. 💛 SEN Support
The School deploys internal and external resources and fully utilizes the Learning Support Grant to provide support needed for those students with special educational needs (SEN). Besides adjusting the assessment requirements for and providing Individual Education Plans to them, the School also offers counselling programs to suit their individual needs. There is close collaboration with their parents, who are constantly briefed on the progress of their children. Moreover, the School has arranged its staff to receive relevant training courses and endeavoured to promote the acceptance of SEN students by other students and their parents.

There are 35 student bodies organizing various types of extra-curricular activities, e.g. the Students' Association, the 4 houses, the Red Cross Youth Team, Campus TV, academic clubs and interest clubs. We also have 19 different school teams winning numerous prizes in open competitions, including Chinese and English Debate Teams, the Public Speaking Team, the School Band, the String Orchestra, the Chinese Orchestra, the Archery Team, the Indoor Rowing Team and other sports teams.
