📚 Approach & Strategies
We adopt an interactive and student-centered approach in our teaching through the mother tongue. This is to arouse our students' interests in learning and to equip them with generic skills, including analytical power, problem solving and communication skills, etc., through our curriculum. We adopt a weekly teaching cycle and incorporate Afternoon Reading Period and Assembly in the timetable to use teaching time more efficiently. Our students have attained outstanding results in most subjects. This reflects the teaching effectiveness of our teachers.
💛 SEN Support
Our school has established a specific Working Team to support, plan, implement and evaluate the integrated education. The members of the working team include the Assistant Principal, SENCO, School Social Worker and School Educational Psychologist. Our school has adopted the whole school approach to support the students with special educational needs. All staff of the school acknowledge the responsibility of establishing the learning support programmes to cater for the needs of the students. The school assesses the suspected cases and refers them to the school educational psychologist. The subsidy is used to get service from the service providers.
