Patriotic education and the development of language abilities are of utmost importance to us. An all-round education that encompasses moral, intellectual and physical cultivation is essential to our young generation who will contribute to the prosperity of Hong Kong and our motherland.
📚 Approach & Strategies
To optimize our teaching, group lesson planning, lesson observations, teaching and learning evaluations are regularly practised. Funding from CEG is well utilized by introducing various learning activities to tap students’ potentials. Junior and senior form students are given Learning Progress Reports and Interim Academic Reports respectively to receive feedback on their performance at different stages of the school year.
💛 SEN Support
As for the aspect of integrated education, our school Student Support Team (SST), which is led by the Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) not only gives room to the teachers concerned to attend courses on catering for diverse learning needs, but also makes use of learning-support-grant(LSG) to provide support for students who have such special needs by means of, for example, adjustments of requirements on such students’ learning, as well as extra time allowance during tests and examinations. It is hoped that on one hand students with different learning needs can all enjoy a healthy learning environment, and on the other fairness in assessment and grading is guaranteed.
🎨 Whole-person Learning
本校著重發展多元智能，有近40項課外活動，提倡「一人一體藝」。其中合唱團（無伴奏合唱團）、管弦樂團、流行樂隊、手鐘手鈴隊、朗誦、童軍、雜耍技藝、跳繩、田徑、乒乓球、籃球等在全港比賽中屢獲殊榮，另有社會服務團、校園電視台、科技與科學、中國書法、中國舞蹈、Hip Hop舞蹈團、棋會等，體藝兼備。初中課外活動納入常規課程，同學必須參與。

| home_school_co_operation | The Parents-Teachers relationship has always been a close and supportive one. Our unique tradition of visiting students’ home has started since the establishment of the school and the Parents-Teachers Association was established in 1958. The General Office, class teachers and parents complement each other and have maintained effective communication. There are constantly activities involving parents for better communication, like “Prize-giving Ceremony for Outstanding Students and Parent Volunteers”, talks for parents, etc. We have home visits to all S1 students every year. |
