📚 Approach & Strategies
For junior forms, students are assigned to different classes in accordance with the English level. An English class is provided with English as the medium of instruction. For senior forms, we do not have streaming based on Arts and Science. Instead, students can choose from two blocks of elective subjects according to their learning needs and styles in addition to the four core subjects. This helps to maximize their learning outcomes. The school also reserves extra funding to organize various apply learning courses by the service providers especially for Secondary 5 students, so that students can explore the direction of lifelong learning as well as their career prospects. 💛 SEN Support
Our school has established a special team to cater for learner diversity aiming at providing appropriate support and advice to students with special education needs. Utilising resources such as Learning Support Grant and Grant for Supporting Non-Chinese Speaking Students with Special Educational Needs, there are a wide range of projects organized including "JC Keen and Active Kids Project" and "JC Diversity at Schools Project". Besides, we also offer a "Chinese writing class" to support junior form students who have learning difficulties and organize an "interrelationship and social skills enhancement team" for students who face problems in socializing.
