| curriculum_planning | Our kindergarten utilizes curriculum that melds picture book teaching strategy with game-based learning, tailored to children's abilities, interests, life experiences, and developmental traits to promote their holistic growth. Additionally, we place great emphasis on fostering bilingualism from a young age. Hence, we employ foreign English and Mandarin teachers to specialize in teaching English and Mandarin, providing children with ample opportunities to immerse themselves in these languages. Complementing this, we utilize Cambridge English books to facilitate opportunities for listening and speaking. Regarding Chinese language, teachers design language-based activities to encourage children to independently acquire related information, exchange and learn from classmates, and present their creations to enhance their oral and written skills. We will follow the “Kindergarten Education Curriculum Guide” (2017) to plan curriculum. Children of nursery classes will not be asked to write, and there will not be mechanical copying exercises and drills on calculation. |
