🎯 Mission

"Our school's vision, ''KCBCK,'' stands for Keen on exploring, Courage to face challenges, Blissful learning, Confidence to serve others, and Keep eyes on Jesus. Through interactive, constructivist learning activities, we nurture children's interest in learning. We also emphasize character education by implementing the ''Anchor Lamb '' program, using Bible stories, sharing, and games to help children develop good character from an early age."

📚 Approach & Strategies

"The teachers use different approaches to assess the learners, the two main approaches include the picture book learning and the project-based approaches. The teachers also apply the experimental approach so that the children can acquire new knowledge and learning experiences through action and participation. Last but not least the teachers use the mixed-age approach so that children can interact and learn from each other promoting social and leadership skills, such as bilingual classes, the Cambridge International English Program, free play, the Orff music teaching approach, and reading programs."

💛 SEN Support

"Joining the On-site Pre-school Rehabilitation Services. Resident Social Worker provides individual game therapy, social groups, and focus groups for students in need."

curriculum_planning We have established an appropriate and comprehensive curriculum with activities that follow the guidelines set out by the Education Bureau for curriculum development. Our curriculum involves the use of the child-centered approach whereby we use games based on the students interests and life experiences. We enable the children to learn through experiences which makes learning enjoyable and helps the learners to make their own decisions, take responsibility for their own learning and enhance their communication skills. Our program is designed to help the learners gain a balanced and all-round development allowing the learners to reach their full potential and develop their unique abilities. The program helps the learners to gain knowledge about morality and spirituality while developing their skills in ''morally, academically, physically, socially, aesthetically, and spiritually''. Five teaching philosophies have been set up: ''Keen on exploring'', ''Courage to face challenge'', ''Blissful Learning'', ''Confidence to serve others'', and ''Keep eyes on Jesus''. Through constructive learning activities, children can interact with others, enhancing their interest in learning. At the same time, based on the truth of the Bible, through Bible stories, sharing and games, we help students to build a good moral character. We will follow the “Kindergarten Education Curriculum Guide” (2017) to plan curriculum. Children of nursery classes will not be asked to write, and there will not be mechanical copying exercises and drills on calculation.
assessment_of_children_learning_experiences We assess children’s learning experiences on a continued basis through continuous observation and evaluation. The school also examines children’s development and learning abilities in six major categories.

K3 students’ bridging arrangements and central allocation parents' meeting, primary school visit.
