📚 Approach & Strategies
With the development of iClass (interactive whiteboard and interactive platform), the interaction between teachers and students both within classroom and outside classroom has been promoted. The Chief Executive's Award for Teaching Excellence in 2007 and the International Outstanding e-Learning Awards (STEAM) (Golden Award) presented by HKU in 2017 reflects teachers' professionalism and excellent abilities. Our school adopts the Whole School Approach to implement integrated education and has a Student Support Team to cater for students with special educational needs (SEN). The school regularly provides teachers with information on integrated education and holds specialized talks to share relevant concepts and teaching suggestions to enhance teachers' understanding. Arrangements are made for teachers to enroll in courses about integrated education to improve their professional competence. Our school makes effective use of the Learning Support Grant (LSG) to provide a diverse range of support for students with SEN, including hiring a teaching assistant to provide appropriate support.
