📚 Approach & Strategies
The computer curriculum for students in S1-S3 has been augmented with the introduction of new modules such as "AI lessons" to nurture students as future leaders, empowering them to harness the full potential of AI. The S.3 Science Extension class will participate in the STEM Expo, which provides students with a platform to showcase their innovative ideas. // "Student Development Report" encompasses an evaluation of a student's academic performance, subject knowledge, subject activities performance, and subject attitude. Additionally, student conduct will be assessed based on their self-discipline, manner, service, and diligence. Students are also required to write a reflection to summarise what they have learnt during the year.
💛 SEN Support
YLLSS's Student Support Team is comprised of the Principal, Vice-Principals, Assistant Principals, the Discipline Committee Head, the Counseling Committee Head, the Careers and Life Planning Head, the SENCo, the Social Workers and the Educational Psychologist. Our school attaches great importance to students' daily learning attitudes and academic performance. The Support Team formulates relevant adaptive measures and support services based on the individual circumstances of students with special educational needs.

AI Teaching Atmosphere: Subjects will conduct teaching research on the use of AI. Additionally, there are subjects in junior forms that carry out interdisciplinary projects using AI. Most subjects and committees use generative AI, e.g. schools provide GEMINI accounts for teachers, computer science offers ChatGPT courses, AI correction system is available for Chinese and English subjects, students enhance their public speaking skills with big data, publicise with virtual models, and adopt robots. |
