Tung Wah's mission in education is to provide comprehensive and multifarious services to children and young people to enable them to exert their full potentialities and, eventually, to serve the community. 📚 Approach & Strategies
1. To place emphasis on language enhancement, Form 1 and Form 2 students have to attend Chinese, English, Mathematics remedial classes to consolidate their learning foundation. The NSS Electives bridging courses are offered for Form 3 students to experience the NSS learning modes; ; Qualification Framework Courses (Art, Design and Media; Basic Baking) are offered for Form 4 students. Student Support Team is formed from the Principal, Vice Principals, Academic Committee Coordinators, Counselling and Guidance Master, Discipline Master, Social Workers, Education Psychologist, Speech Therapist, SEN Coordinator, SEN Support Teachers and the panel chairpersons of Chinese, English, Mathematics and Citizenship & Social Development. It is devoted to coordinating and planning the strategies for catering students' diverse learning needs. | life_planning_education | Our school co-organized a series of activities with the Educational Psychologist Team of Tung Wah Group of Hospital. Life planning curriculum 'My Way' has been implemented in the junior classes, which aims to raise students’ self-understanding, communication skills, self-confidence and so on. At the same time, the 'smart goal programme' is implemented throughout the school to assist students in setting goals. Seminars focused on further studies and careers have been organized for S3 to S6 students.
