The junior secondary school-based curriculum is broad and balanced, emphasizing knowledge, attitude, and skills. It adopts a project-based learning approach to equip students with fundamental methods and skills in STEAM research over the junior years. External resources are effectively utilized to support the development of teaching strategies and curriculum initiatives. To meet students’ learning needs, each subject sets learning objectives based on generic skills and promotes self-directed learning. Our school makes good use of the Learning Support Grant to engage experienced supporting staff like counsellor and teaching assistants and provide after-school services, such as the Student Mental Health Support Scheme, meeting with clinical psychologist, educational psychologist and occupational therapist.
