📚 Approach & Strategies
To cope with students' wide variety of talents and skills, we stress the importance of developing students' critical thinking and problem solving skills. The curriculum in our school is designed with e-learning materials and problem-solving approaches in order to develop their critical and logical thinking abilities and problem solving techniques. These lay the foundation of life-time self-learning skills that students can acquire and create knowledge by themselves. 💛 SEN Support
Our school aims at building an inclusive and caring campus with the whole school approach. The school established the Inclusive Education Committee (Student Support Team) including the vice principal, SENCO, teachers and counsellor with training in catering students with special needs, teaching assistants, social workers and educational psychologist, which provides collaborative support for facilitating students’ learning effectiveness. Special arrangement on formative and summative assessment is made for student learning diversities. By the optimal use of the Learning Support Grant, the school employs extra manpower in teaching, purchases professional services (including speech therapy and parent education) and organises interest groups for student personal growth and career explorations.
🎨 Whole-person Learning
There are different service groups, including Student Union, Prefect Team, English Association, Library Ambassador, Campus TV Crew, House Committees, Counselling Perfect, The Boys’ Brigade and Christian Gospel Team. There are a wide variety of clubs and societies for the students to join to enrich their school lives. Students are encouraged to join the school teams such as Chinese Debate, English Debate, Choir, Guzheng Ensemble, Orchestra, Athletic, Cross-country, Volleyball, Basketball, Badminton, Indoor Rowing, and are trained to take part in the inter-school competitions.

| oa_orientation_activities_n_healthy_life | During the summer, we arranged a parents’ talk to assist parents of their students' current schooling situation as a secondary school student and develop the learning habits. At the beginning of every year, the school will arrange an orientation period for the students to adapt and prepare for the upcoming academic year. Counselling Prefects from senior forms are willing to support students to enjoy their new school life. The school also provides two class teachers for classes to facilitate pastoral care for the students.<br>Concerning the healthy eating habits of students, the school has established a special committee aiming at monitoring the nutritional value, taste and students' hygienic habits of students. Our tuck shop is strictly not allowed to sell any soft drinks or any deep fried snacks; parents are also encouraged to provide their own healthy lunches.
