🎯 Mission
Based on the motto of "Modesty, Sincerity, Diligence and Acumen", we accord our students with holistic education. We develop in our students independent thinking ability and positive outlook for life. We create a superior learning environment so that students can realize their potentials and make contributions to the society.
📚 Approach & Strategies
1. Bridging course to assist students to adapt EMI in F.4. 2. We always require students to prepare for lessons. 3. We require students to reflect their studies; they should also set learning targets. 4. Peer classroom observation and marking observation. 5. We participate in the reading schemes organized by HKEdCity. Our students also take part in on-line reading clubs and other reading projects. 6. Pooling more resources to award students who are making progress. 7. We promote Self-Regulated Learning. 8. "Learning attitude" grades (by subjects) shown in student's report card. 9. Routine award scheme -- students have the chance to be reward because of good learning performance in every single lesson.
💛 SEN Support
We adopt a whole school approach to implementing integrated education. Student Support Team has been established, consisting of the principal, vice-principal, special educational needs coordinator, special educational needs support teachers, school-based educational psychologists, speech therapists, subject teachers, school counsellors, social workers, and teaching assistants. This team supports students with special educational needs. We utilize the Learning Support Grant and other resources to provide a wide range of support services for these students, including social development groups, group and individual counselling, and after-school learning programs. 🎨 Whole-person Learning
In order to facilitate our students to adapt to a globalized and diversified society in the future, our ECA policy is student-based and it stresses on the development of students' different potentials. Our ECA theme is "Training Capabilities and Cultivating Qualities". We organize Friday ECA days and we have 70 clubs, form associations, 4 houses, class associations, co-curricular groups and uniform teams. We also introduce a mechanism to assess students' ECA performance. Besides the customary ECAS, we have shuttlecock, judo and archery teams. Maths and Science would be taught in English in all S.1 to S.3 classes. History, Geography and Computer Literacy will be taught in English in a particular class.
