📚 Approach & Strategies

Enhancing learning and teaching effectiveness is another major concern. Learning atmosphere is promoted through enriching students’ self-regulated learning ability and habit. IT is broadly applied in enriching the classroom pedagogy. Integrated Humanities at junior secondary level promotes learning both within and outside the classroom. Modular approach is adopted to improve learning and teaching effectiveness of subjects. A broad curriculum is offered at senior secondary, enabling students to select subjects according to their interests and abilities.

💛 SEN Support

Our school has established Students Support Committee. The board of this committee includes the assistant principal, SEN coordinator, SEN support teachers, educational psychologist as well as Discipline Committee and Counseling Committee. The board caters for learning diversity and provides appropriate supporting services so as to raise our students' learning capacity and assist them in integrating into the school life. Our school make use of the Learning Support Grant employing counselling teachers in order to provide assistance for our SEN students. We also outsource professional services, e.g. speech therapy and occupational therapy. We work with social welfare organizations to provide multi-intelligence social groups and interest groups for students with ADHD or Autism Spectrum Disord…

🎨 Whole-person Learning

為培養學生在靈、德、智、體、群、美六育方面得到平衡發展,本校運用校外及校內各類資源推行活動。本校開辦的課外活動及學會多達50多項,亦訓練學生參與校外不同類型比賽,以滿足學生全方位學習的需要。不少組別更聘請專業導師教授,以提高水平及吸引學生參加。

language_policy Developing students' bi-literate and tri-lingual competence is one of our major concerns. At junior secondary level, the teaching of some topics in Computer Literacy and Home Economics is conducted in English. English glossaries are introduced in the teaching of Citizenship, Economics and Society. In classes with students of higher academic ability, the teaching of Mathematics and Integrated Science is also conducted in English. Besides the school curriculum, there is an English Reading session every week. A Reading Buddy Scheme is held regularly during lunch time.
