📚 Approach & Strategies

Our teachers are dedicated to coping with learner diversity and actively engage in continuous professional development. All the teachers have acquired basic computer literacy skills to apply IT in learning and teaching. Besides stressing academic pursuits, our school also focuses on life-wide learning. To cultivate students’ reading interest, we encourage students to join various reading schemes. Apart from the school-based Chinese/English Extensive Reading Scheme, we provide a reading period every Thursday morning. Our school endeavours to cultivate an inclusive environment for our students. We have adopted a Whole School Approach to support our students with special educational needs (SEN). Through resource allocation and professional intervention, students with special needs have all along been provided with timely and diversified support services to enhance their learning effectiveness and help them adapt to their school life. 🎨 Whole-person Learning

There are 20 extra-curricular activity clubs which are divided into 4 categories: academic clubs, interest clubs, uniformed groups & service teams as well as sports association. Striving for academic excellence, our school also emphasizes the importance of diversified extra-curricular activities, community services, training courses and leadership training camps to nurture students’ generic skills. Furthermore, our students have made remarkable achievements in inter-school English debate competitions and inter-school ball games competitions. In music, with our well-trained Chinese Orchestra and Symphonic Band, we provide multifarious music activities, namely music concerts, mainland as well as overseas exchange programmes, plus public music performances to broaden students’ global vision.

oa_orientation_activities_n_healthy_life S.1 Orientation Day is held in mid-July. In mid-August, our school organizes an English Bridging Course for S.1 newcomers to help them adapt to the EMI environment.<br>Students' whole-person development has long been the prime concern of our school.
