🎯 Mission

Formerly known as PLK 1983 Board of Directors' College, our school aims at a quality education for all, advocates an all round education embracing the academic, moral, physical, social and aesthetic aspects, and takes pride in nurturing and flourishing faithful boys and girls for the community.

📚 Approach & Strategies

In order to promote active learning and reading culture, our school has developed a series of parallel curriculums including Project Curriculum, Extensive Reading Scheme, Reading Celebration, Activity Curriculum and Student Profile. Our junior secondary curriculum aims at fostering students' whole-person development; enriching students' learning experiences; strengthening students' biliterate and trilingual ability as well as STEM education. The junior curriculum is tailored to consolidate students' foundation and ensure smooth transition to their senior secondary curriculum.

💛 SEN Support

The Student Support Team includes the Principal, Vice-principal, Special Educational Needs Coordinator, Academic Head, Discipline Head, Guidance Head, representatives from the Chinese and English departments, social workers and PLK educational psychologist. With the support of the Learning Support Grant from EDB, our team offers buy-service counselling programmes to provide appropriate support for students with special educational needs. If necessary, the school will arrange appropriate special examination accommodations for students.

🎨 Whole-person Learning

1. 本校設有五層架構約六十個課外活動單位,分別為四社、校隊、制服團隊、學科學會及興趣小組。中一、二級同學需參與兩個學會或團隊,而中三至五推行幹事培訓計劃。 2. 為加強學生課堂以外學習經歷,本校全年舉辦不同活動,如與你同樂日、全方位學習日、展藝文化日、中國文化日、科學活動日、社際音樂比賽及班際英語話劇比賽等。 3. 學生積極參與校外比賽,如校際朗誦節、校際音樂節、葵青區校際運動比賽、學生營商體驗計劃、模擬法庭比賽、機械人比賽、創意思維世界賽,國際4DFrame數理科學創意比賽等,同學表現出眾,屢獲佳積。 4. 本校著重發展學生潛能、服務社群的經驗,於中一至中六級舉辦義工服務計劃鼓勵同學參與不同義工服務,並獲得不同的義工獎項。 5. 本校希望同學透過境外交流,進行考察及體驗當地文化,以擴闊視野。每年舉辦不同交流團,曾到訪澳洲、韓國、新加坡及日本等,亦曾到內地城市包括北京、上海、西安、山西、寧波、江西等進行文化…

oa_orientation_activities_n_healthy_life F.1 Orientation Talk and Orientation Games Day are held before September. The year-long "F.1 Orientation Star Scheme" includes a series of lunch-time programs and interest groups (Sept-Dec). There are Guidance Prefects helping all F.1 students to adapt to the secondary school life. The school has been awarded “Caring School” for 18 consecutive years. The aim of our school is to provide teachers and students with a safe, healthy, harmonious and happy environment. Our School has also fulfilled the requirement of the scheme with good performance. Our school has participated in 4Rs Mental Health Charter to promote the importance of mental health.
